  Piñera's future in suspense after Constitutional Court ruling regarding pension funds

  

  Chile's Constitutional Court (TC) rejected on Tuesday a request by the government of Sebastián Piñera seeking to disapprove of a constitutional reform that Congress passed into law for a third withdrawal of 10 per cent of the pension funds.

  Chilean Senate sinks Piñera into deeper isolation regarding withdrawal of pension funds

  

  Chile's Senate Thursday passed a bill whereby people shall be allowed to withdraw an additional ten per cent from the pension funds to be able to cope with the hardships caused by job losses and the closing of businesses owing to the restrictive health measures against Covid-19.
