The United Kingdom might join Germany and Norway as a donor to Brazil's Amazon Fund to boost sustainability in the rainforest, British Environment Secretary Thérèse Coffey said.
The UK will continue as Chair of the Global Ocean Alliance as it calls for more ambition to meet the 30by30 ocean pledge. Environment Secretary Thérèse Coffey urged more countries to join the more than 120 nations who already support the pledge to protect 30% of the world’s ocean by 2030.

Seventeen innovative new projects will receive UK Government funding through the Darwin Plus initiative, to help protect and enhance the environment in the UK Overseas Territories. The seventh round of funding under the initiative, worth around £3.75m, will be shared amongst 17 projects around the globe. The funding will support international nature and help to achieve many of the commitments in the UK Government’s 25 Year Environment Plan.
