  Beijing disappears whistle blower doctor after disseminating information of coronavirus in Wuhan

  

  Wuhan doctor Ai Fen, who expressed early concerns about the coronavirus to the media, has disappeared and is believed detained by Chinese authorities. Fen, the head of the emergency at Wuhan Central Hospital, was given a warning after she disseminated information about the coronavirus to several other doctors.

  A Chinese doctor who was among the first to warn publicly about the new coronavirus outbreak - and was reprimanded by authorities for “spreading rumours” - died of the infection early on Friday, his hospital announced.
