Nuclear Ship

The Armada of Chile confirmed that it located the English ship with nuclear residuals when it was navigated at 650 miles to the east of Comodoro Rivadvia city, in Chubut, informed the Ship Captain, Hugo Barra, Public Relations Chief of the force.

Although the named rescue area does not exceeds the 600 miles, the official specified that the English ship "Pacific Swan" was "in Argentine jurisdiction" and estimated that it will reach the Chilean area, in Cabo de Hornos, "the coming January 12th."

A ship of the organization environmentalist Greenpeace will leave in next 48 hours toward Cabo de Hornos, to intercept the ship "Pacific Swan", which carries 80 tons of radio-active residuals bound for Japan.

On the other hand, the Environment Defense Foundation (FUNAM), an environmentalist entity with headquarter in Córdoba, presented a penal accusation against the Foreign Relation Minister, Adalberto Rodríguez Giavarini, and the Social Development and Environment, Graciela Fernández Meijide to whom accused of "slowness and weakness" before the ship course event through Argentine waters.
