The Armada of Chile confirmed that it located the English ship with nuclear residuals when it was navigated at 650 miles to the east of Comodoro Rivadvia city, in Chubut, informed the Ship Captain, Hugo Barra, Public Relations Chief of the force.

Three Fijian fishermen who secretly and without prior permission 'escaped' from a Korean fishing vessel in Port Stanley harbour have been arrested as 'illegal immigrants' by members of the Royal Falkland Islands Police.

New Chairman for Falkland Islands Trust.
The new Chairman of the Falkland Islands Trusts (FIT) is Air Commodore Peter Johnson, OBE, BA, FIMGt, former Commander of British Forces in the Falkland Islands (CBFFI) in 1994 and 1995. He succeeds Captain Paddy Vincent CBE, RN (ret), who was born in the Falkland Islands.
