Argentine Pilot, Martin Rappalini was due to arrive at Stanley Airport today but due to the weather, Director of Civil Aviation, Gerald Cheek said it now looked unlikely. Rappalini was the first pilot to land an Argentine private aircraft at Stanley Airport since the '82 conflict. He faced problems with the Argentine aviation authorities following his initial visit but Mr Cheek says these have been resolved. Martin Rappalini is planning to fly from Commodoro Rivadavia with his two daughters. On Tuesday, another aircraft is due in from Rio Grande. The justification was that due to the aircraft being a private plane as opposed to a commercial one it was classed as private trip.
