BBC “Calling the Falklands” producer Dee Palmer, will be visiting the Islands for a week in March, collecting material for an “Omnibus” program to be broadcasted during the first week of April in coincidence with the twentieth anniversary

However, Dee Palmer who will be arriving Stanley March 9th., anticipated to Mercopress that the program will make emphasis on the Falklands today, twenty years after the war, besides relations with Britain and Argentina.

With this in mind CTF producer has interviews scheduled with the Governor, several Councillors and a number of FIG and FIDC officials, and plans to visit several settlements, because Dee is a confessed "keen bird watcher".

This will be Dee Palmer's first visit to the Falklands, and she's very interested in first hand knowledge of the Islands since this will be invaluable for her work as a presenter of the BBC CTF, a job she has been doing regularly for the last six years.

On her return to Britain Dee Palmer will interview a Foreign Office minister.

Dee Palmer is currently in freelance production and besides CTF, produces, presents and reports for various heath and science BBC programs plus reporting on educational material dealing with health topics. She started working for BBC in 1973 as an accounts clerk, became a recording engineer in 1975 and after support jobs in a number of production departments, finally in 1984 became a full time producer.

Dee will be coming with her husband.
