Falkland's Councillors won't be attending the Argentine British conference in Argentina.
They have sent a letter to the organiser in London saying that they're not entirely satisfied that the Conference will best serve the interests of the Islands.
And that furthermore Councillors did not feel that the time was right to make a visit to Argentina, given the current atmosphere generated by the new Argentine government.
They add that others in the private sector may feel inclined to participate and that those who do will go with councillor's support.
The next meeting is scheduled for the 24th to 27th of October in Buenos Aires at CARI (Consejo Argentino para las Relaciones Internacionales), which is the equivalent of Chatham House.
More soon.
