Argentina has record wheat exports
Argentina's wheat exports rose to 8.7 million tons in the 2004-2005 harvest, double the previous harvest, reported the Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food ministry.

Regulations to reduce seabird deaths welcome
The Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society welcomed the New Zealand government's decision to regulate commercial fishing operations in order to reduce the annual slaughter of thousands of seabirds, including albatrosses and petrels threatened with extinction.

Giant iceberg in Australian Antarctic station
An iceberg more than twice the size of Malta has arrived in the backyard of Australia's Casey station in Antarctica. The 50km-long iceberg, 788 square kms in area, is known as B15G. It is part of a massive iceberg, B15 that broke away the Ross Ice Shelf in Antarctica in March 2000.
