Joint tribute to Falklands' conflict fallen

Argentine Malvinas veterans and a party from the Royal Navy Ice Patrol HMS Endurance jointly participated in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, in a simple but emotive ceremony in honour of those fallen in the 1982 South Atlantic conflict.

More unemployment in spite of robust global growth

The number of people unemployed worldwide climbed to new heights in 2005, --particularly in Latinamerica--, as robust economic growth failed to offset an increase in people seeking work - especially among the vast and growing legion of jobless youth, the International Labour Office (ILO) said in its annual Global Employment Trends released Tuesday.

QM2 passengers launch mass lawsuit

Passengers on board the luxury liner Queen Mary 2 have initiated a mass lawsuit against the ship's operator. A UK law firm told the BBC news website it has registered a class action on behalf of “disappointed holidaymakers”.
