Caroline McCain the eldest grand daughter of US Republican presidential candidate John McCain, currently studying journalism in Buenos Aires, admits she has fallen in love with the city and said she would vote for Barack Obama if his rival was George W Bush.

"Obama can be a great president, he's doing a good job and if the election was between him and Bush I would vote for the Democrats", Caroline is quoted in an interview with the Buenos Aires daily Perfil. "But this is not the right moment for Obama, he needs more experience to become US president" Caroline is following journalism courses in three different Buenos Aires schools including the government funded University of Buenos Aires. In one of the UBA seminars on globalization she agreed to pose next to a huge poster of presidents Hugo Chavez from Venezuela, Evo Morales, Bolivia and Rafael Correa, Ecuador with the motto "Yanks out of Latin America". "I like very much UBA, its' very colourful, disorganized but also full of interesting discussions between professors and students. I'm listening to very strong remarks about the US in its relation with Latin America, and I think I'm beginning to understand that my country committed errors in this region", said Caroline. "I'm going to talk with my grandpa about Argentina because this country has much to offer". About current President Bush Caroline said he does not represent the true face of the US, "many are against him. And if my grandpa wins the election I'm sure he's going to do something to improve relations between Argentina and the US". "We should have never gone into Iraq, but now that we are there we must finish the job. It's not a good option to make our troops leave the place without an orderly plan". However, whoever wins in November great changes can be expected in the US, "because my grandpa and Obama have promised to improve relations with the rest of the world. And we are now paying the costs. I don't like Bush". According to Perfil she promised an interview with her grandfather and will be doing reporting from the US on the elections, but she will be returning to Buenos Aires, "the most European city of South America". "I feel very comfortable in this city; I think I've fallen in love with Buenos Aires".
