Mercopress editors, please beign more respectfull, malvinas inhabitants are not members of mercosur and the fact you call the islands falklands does not represent the view of mercosur members. I think this is just a british unnemployed idea to make monney from and, at the same time, lobbying for the “falklands” cause.
PD: why dont you call this falklandpress instead of mercopress.

Not so dear Mercopress, Falklands are not part of Argentina. the lonely name falklands is the name used by the usurpers who pretend to keep colonization in the 21 century.
The part of the Argentine's territory you are mention is called Malvinas or , if you want to be inpartial in the matter of the sovereighty dispute, you can call them as the United Nation use to refers to, as the Falklands/Malvinas islands in english or Malvinas/Falklands in Spanish.
Anyway im not imposing anything im just saying its very irresponsable for a news, supposedly independent, supposedly based on Uruguay (which support Argentine's sovereignty claim) to take side on favor of Great Britain.
Im not against that inhabitants of malvinas express themself but not at the cost of making people believe you represent Uruguayan people. You dont sign the articles, you dont give telephones, no address, no names, no editors and im dont know who am i talking to anyway.
Anyhow nobody is perfect and i wish you the best of luck, and i wish that if you are going to present mercosur news to the world, i only hope it will be with impartial news, not pro-british nor pro-argentine. Like it should, with no biased news.

I have to agree with Luis. Why are there no contact details for Mercopress? Only a contact form. That's not very open for a news
    agency.

And by the way, thanks for finally agreeing Luis: “...Falklands are not part of Argentina.” Anyway, the name “Falkland Islands” has a much longer history that “Malvinas”. The sound between the main islands was named Falkland Sound in 1690 by Capt. John Strong and from that islands became known as the Falkland Islands, first recorded in 1708 and published in 1712. Malvinas is simply a corruption of Iles Malouines, the French name for the Islands, and “Malvinas” did not appear in general use until 100 years later, with Las Maluinas still being used up to 1811. The only reason the UN include “Malvinas” in the name is because of Argentine lobbying...
