The History Channel will be screening next June a film on the Falkland Islands war and the fire baptism of the Argentine Air Force, it was announced this week in Buenos Aires.
“The exclusive document on the air battles, one of the least reported facts of the 1982 war will include testimonies from the Argentine pilots flying risky missions during those decisive moments of the war”, said Miguel Brailovsky who will be responsible for the History Channel offices in Buenos Aires.
The announcement was made during the official presentation of History Channel Programming Office in Buenos Aires and its program of activities for this year.
Brailovsky returns to head the Buenos Aires after having spent six years as the channel’s programmer in Caracas, Venezuela.
The new offices in Buenos Aires will be responsible for the Production Coordination and Post Coordination for Latinamerica of the A&E Group and Olé network.
The official date for airing 1982 Malvinas: La Guerra desde el aire; The War from the Air, is June 15th.
