Brazil has suggested delaying the coming Mercosur presidential summit scheduled for July 3 and 4 in Asunción, Paraguay when Uruguay should be taking the chair for the next six months. Read full article

    Sadly this yet another indication that Brazil has tired of the MERCOSUL and is looking for other arenas. Unfortunately if Brazil can not convincingly lead a regional economic integration process, what can it hope to accomplish globally?

    Well put Tim,

    Brazil uses the Mercosur to flood member markets with subsidized goods, then cries foul when them member states invoke market protection..
