Leaders from the Union of South American Nations, Unasur meeting in a regional summit in Ecuador expressed fresh concerns over Colombian plans to grant US troops access to its military bases but could not agree on a declaration to formally condemn the proposals. Read full article

    The Yankees this the Yankees that. Talk about misdirection and spin. The main topic for UNASUR should be how to get rid of corruption and drug trafficking and create jobs and end subsidies.. Instead, it is the great Satan is the root cause of all of our problems again, ad naseum...
    The incurstion Chavez is whining about was the FARC comig for reload and re-equip and some R and R.

    I just laugh at Chavito.....he thought he'd make the difference again and then......

    I wonder why Russians were allowed by him to set their feet in Venezuela and no one had brought up criticism........

    I'd rather see American militaries around than those commies who are a truly threat to democracy in our continent.

    I envy Colombians.
