I see we can only ever expect snide and pointless remarks from our Argentine contributors. Its called democracy. I know you still don't have much experience with it but persevere, you're bound to get the hang of it eventually.

Malvinas is now a commercial dictatorship goverment where its councillors have business of fishing (devasting the food of pinguins)in Argentine Patagonia we reserve that area with Nationals Parks. Here the provinces (federal system) have its own Legislative, and Laws, Governador are elected in a Democratic System. In fact, today in the XXI CENTURY, which place is more free, grown & democratic????

Of course islanders have nothing to worry when we talk about Argentina, for them Argentina means opportunities as nitrojuan is saying. The british presence and domination is what must worry them, the british presence that generates the conflict and creates the obstacules for peace, freedom, development, friendship, tolerance and progression.

No welkin, the conflict was created and is sustained by Argentina. The British presence is there solely to guarantee that the islanders can pursue self-determination. Argentina does not have a clue what peace, freedom, development, friendship, tolerance and progression means. Clearly neither do you.

Just for your information. Bill Luxton was beaten and deported by Argentina from the Falklands in 1982, for the simple reason they didn't like what he had to say.
