I see De Mint remains floating somewhere in outer space. Neither the USA nor any other country in the Western Hemisphere will recognize the results of the November 29 elections in Honduras if both sides to the recently signed October 30th agreement do not adhere to its terms. Someone ought to put this nit wit Senator in his place. He has no right to be formulating his own foreign policy that contradicts or undermines the one formulated by the elected President of the United States of America and his cabinet.Nov 07th, 2009 - 09:16 am - Link - Report abuse 0
Tim you are wrong about that...they just announced(the US Dept of State, Craig Kelly) that they WILL recognize the elections as long as Micheletti follows the agreement and that is regardless of what Zelaya follows...Zelaya has been thrown under the bus...the US would not be caught dead denying citizens the right to vote.Nov 11th, 2009 - 10:06 am - Link - Report abuse 0
