The Kirchner couple at their lowest public opinion rating

Vice-President Julio Cobos, the most popular

Argentine president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and her husband Nestor Kirchner are the politicians with the worst image according to a public opinion poll taken at the end of October by Management & Fit and released this week.

At the other end, top of the list figures Vice-president Julio Cobos with a positive image of 54.8%. The Kirchner couple figure with a positive 20.1% for Cristina and 19.7% for the consort. The poll includes 1.800 interviews and covers the whole of Argentina.

Regarding negative image, once again the K couple leads with 61.3% rejection and Cristina, 59.8%.

As to the capacities associated with the different leaders mentioned in the poll, “those who support the Kirchner couple believe Nestor is who will be most successful in reducing unemployment, combating insecurity and bringing down poverty”.

Looking ahead to the 2011 presidential election and chances for the incumbent Kirchner couple, only 24.4% said they could win while 67.6% said nay and 8% did not reply. However rejection in the crucial Buenos Aires province and Buenos Aires City was 58.1%.
