Dec 28th, 2009 - 07:57 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Lula is afraid that after he leaves the presidency, all the corruption -related scandals that he masterminded along with the thugs from his party (the PT) will come to surface. Lula was lucky to ride out a wave of good fortune for Brasil, but he did nothing to help this wave along, although at least he didn't stand on the way. Brasil falls every year in Transparancy International's corruption index, it's embarrassing and it's all his party's fault. Corruption is endemic within his parties' ranks and Lula has created tens of thousands of jobs for his supporters from within his party with dire consequences. Brasil will remain the country of the future, eternally, until the forces of corruption are properly dealt with. The PT will continue to steal, threaten, and even kill with total impunity as Lula does nothing to expose or prosecute their crimes. These are simple thugs who deserve to be thrown in jail, and their party is no more a political organization then the mafia is.
