Disclaimer & comment rulesI worked in the Reagan White House when Uruguay emerged from military dictatorship, and was involved with the country's return to democracy. So it saddens me to see a Uruguayan politician acknowledging China's dictatorial regime and giving credence to its suppression of democratic rights not only for Tibet, but for its own citizens.
