Great Britain's response will be simple and precise: an squadron of RAF Typhoons will be deployed to the Falklands to send a clear message to the Argentinian government that the islands are under British control - the control of energy resources is a key strategic issue in UK's foreign policy.

Yawn,

Something happens in the Falklands, Argentina screams and shouts about it, everyone says here we go again and then its ignored because they're bored with it, a bunch of South American leaders will mouth sympathetic platitudes in a knee jerk response and thats it basically.

But then Argentina had the opportunity to be involved in this, before it threw its rattle out of the pram and tore up the hydrocarbon agreements. No doubt Jorge and Luis will join in their usual parrot act of lauding the Kirschners for destroying the Argentine economy and the usual suspects from El Malvinense will be spouting racist bile. As usual its all down to decisions made by Argentina but it will be everyone else's fault.

JUSTIN, yesterday i answered you your last comentary, but it's been eliminated, i dont know what happened, anyway, i will aswer you again.
Yesterday you told me that i should reed from foreign independent press about the true rates of inflation etc etc of the argentine economy.
If you really think that in the rest of the world, you can find independent press, you are fanny or just injudicious.
The media in the whole world are only funtional to economic interests, the press wont never tell you what you should know, they only will tell you what is convenient for their interests.
No one in argentina believes in the indec, people only takes into account the private stadistics.
On the other hand when i inform my self, i do it with those chanels that support the goverment, and those that are against them, i dont beleive in any ofthem, i only beleive in the reality, i must do this, because all of them omit information, or just lie all the time, the media are as corrupters and manipulators as the politicians.
About the k, you know what i think about them, but i dont agre in absolut neather with your catastrophic vition, if the k only destroyed the argentine economy, how do you explain all the progress that we had during all these years?.
I dont want neather another k goverment, but i must recognize like me or not, all the achievements that we had, we didn't have only a few more schools and a few more hospitals like some idiots say.
Beside since the 2003 i heard from that soposed free press that a new economic disaster is coming soon, so, do you think i can believe in the press?, sorry but i am not so inocent.
About the argentine industry, i have riden about economy all my life, and i rode from some economist who hold that argentina industry is uncompetitive, and others say the oposit, but they all agree that the goverment must control the indiscriminated imported products, because those cheap products are prejuditial for our national industry.
What i think about economic measures is that, some of them were good and others were terrible.
To finish my comentary, let me tell you that, you are ignoring very important facts, because you dont live here, you are just awared about the bad decitions, or the bad news from argentina, i m atotally sure that you not even know the half of the achievements that we had during all these years.

-You don't have the faintest idea about our economy. Stop reading “Finalcial Times” jajaja.

If you can sustain your arguments, then go to El Malvinense to debate. Of course, you won't go down that route since there are Malvinas experts there.

Justin, en economía tanto como en historia, solo tocás de oído!

Now that is funny, because I've seen no evidence of that unless you believe in fairy tales.

They have proven nothing, but on the other hand many of their deeply cherished beliefs have been comprehensively trashed. Invincible was sunk, anyone?

This comment went up it yesterday, but not you because they removed it, it is only a point of view of who writes, it was carried out with respect. Did the Englishmen attack with atomic bombs to those who think different? Did the Englishmen attack with atomic bomas to the Argentina to claim for their legitimate rights on the Islands? I ask to Jerry.

Yesterday he/she sent him the following comment so that he/she meditated and they censored it to me, he/she doesn't have anything of bad educaciòn in the answer:

For Jerry: It is very evident the hate that you have towards Argentina and the rest of Latin America. You propose the hate, the death and the injustice in you see of the understanding, the respect and the justice among the towns. You don't keep in mind that that hate will BECOME in your against. That GOD helps you.

Jorge, did you actually bother to read the thread? Even the most myopic nationalist Argentine admitted that it wasn't sunk...which puts the accuracy of your comment in some doubt.

They're still claiming HMS Invincible was sunk? What was it 6 times, they made that claim, and the large aircraft carrier sitting in Portsmouth since 2005 doesn't change their minds.

Oh I needed a laugh, cheers.
