Lula is an idiot.
What does he need weaponry for when his country is slap full of murderous, drug dealing gang bangers ?
I guess it's a short complex. Big gun, little dick
Hey unWiseman.. Dooooglaz has a point, all you have is a pointed head. The only countries that would or could threaten Brazil are in order of threat:
1. Brazil, the biggest threat is internal with all the drug consumption problems. Fighter planes are not really good for beating up on favellas.
2. Venezuela, when Chavez needs to deflect and spin, like Argentina invading the Malvinas/Falklands, he will do a land grab, and with Brazil being non-alligned, they are the logical choice.
3. Colombia, when they get tired of Brazillian arms getting to the FARC. Maybe doing what they did in Ecuador a few years back. A little incursion to flush out the rebels being harbored in sympathetic countries.
