With just a few days for the official end of the 2009/2010 cruise season Buenos Aires City is celebrating an increase in the number of ship calls and visitors, according to the preliminary results of a poll contracted by the City’s Tourism Board. Read full article

This is really good news for us. With Obama's health care plan there is potential for more US pensioners joining the cruises to Argentina(?) Though, lets face it, the hotels are generally totally overpriced wherever you go in Argentina, and with air fares being what they are, the tourist industry does need to strike a balance.
