Many people lost money that time. They (unknown) cooked something that year and they (unknown) again did the same. They (unknown) made fools a lot of people.
In future, they will invent another think to get people's money and there will be a lot of people who will believe and lose again.
Of course, this kind of things are very useful for UK.
Common citizens are the ones who always lose.

13ed, good analisis, I think Archibald had a bad experience in argentine schools. May be his partners called him names or punished him, you know how children are. Perhaps he was called “Pan triste” or something like that. I think that we have to take a look at Archibald's childhood to realize why he has so much resentment against Argentina.
