Not obsessed with America's views about Falkland Islands. But you can take heart, as no doubt Cristina will, from America's ability to do abrupt about-faces. This might give you a clue about America's reaction the next time you try for a propaganda coup. It'll probably be something on the lines of, Of course we'll mediate. On our side of the table, we have the Second and Fourth Fleets. We don't need to bother our friend and close ally, David Cameron.
