FOGL had been expecting to announce preliminary results of the well during this week; however, there have been some further delays due to some minor operational issues and weather related downtime. Read full article
No idea really, but I would not be surprised if all they get from this drill is Key Information and Knowledge - to give a better idea where to drill next time - this is a totally new geoligical area to RockHopper. But a big bonus if it does show positive as well - but not a disater if not. Its on the edge of deepwater drilling as well.
Wow. Think is doing his research. 7% is nothing on a small cap AIM listed oil expo company. FOGL was +12% last Friday so my holding is still worth more than open on Friday AM and over 200% since I purchased the equity early last year! Once the news is released then it will either be -50% (possibly even -75%) or +150% (could touch + 200% depending on the information gathered). either way this is a long term play for me with a vast acearage and multi billion barrel potential!
This is good news this means that when Argentina get them back our nukes will be already payed for by the oil, too bad we have to waste the money in arms since the british threat has gone across the ocean with a nuclear sub, someone must have a few nukes to trade for energy.
