I guess some of this politicians don't know a thing about industrialized farming and hunger, For Argentina this is a win win situation if they take back the soya bean and feed it to the cows, then when China goes hungry we can sale them the meat or else we can make burning oil and sell them renewhable energy, soya is a versatile bean, if I was Chritina I would stop wasting time bothering this Chinese people and work on a Argentine national program to lunch a soya processing plant in Argentina and export the finish product rather then give away the raw material to export and inport finish products, Argentina needs to create jobs for themsleves and stop giving them away to other nations.

    Dear Vargas,
as a matter of fact, soyoil, meal and biodiesel are the main subproducts of soya. And Argentina has the world´s biggest hub in Rosario area for the industrial processing of the two former and a growing industry on the latter.
China´s new strategy is to replace oil-by-beans, and they have built facilities in Dailan for that attempt.
Perhaps, Cristina should have learnt more about Argentina´s few strengths before weakening them.

  • avargas2001

Dear Pheel thanks for agreeing with me, that Argentina has to keep all the raw material and keep the jobs in Argentina, I was sure someone would see that keeping jobs is better then selling the raw material witch exports the jobs to the countries buying up all the raw materials, variety in the market is always good, I heard that soya is a good replacement for cattle feed, I think Argentina's meat price was going up, maybe they should keep the soya to feed the cows and bring down the price of Argentine meat, what still has to be done is get all the british out from our land and rid Argentina from british companies.

  • Pheel

I feel that the problems aren´t the companies but the lack of a national project and a leadership of consensus in the long term. Brazil is inviting everybody to invest and nobody feels that´s kind of national surrender.
In my personal vision of near future, we are going to miss yankee “backyard approach”!!!!... when the chinese start to “rule the waves” in South America. Not an american dream.
pd: Brits are the past, some kind of old fashioned mix of (sportmen + pirates) that lost the battle for investing in Argentina after WW1 and were definitely trashed out from the world by the americans after WW2. Today, just an appendix of the american empire.

Pheel: I couldn’t agree more. We have been brainwashed since so long that we lost all sense of perspective. We always tended to blame the others, particularly among the foreigners, the British, which is démodé. We always were in love with conspiracy theories. We don’t have a national project nor has one the main opposition parties and besides, we had destroyed the education system.

I guess katraskin is part of the military junta that destroyed education and killed civilians, as you can see by this report China absorbs 70% of our soya and we have the cheapest, aparently there is a project, if not China, India or Pakistan will buy it and still make a profit if finally sold to China, it would be beneficial for Argentina to be out of the China deal so they can sell it at market value, what we do have in Argentina is a lot of ignorants who let other people tell them what to think rather then do the research themselves, Do I need to give you all an example ??

Everybody needs to be careful of “gassy” as stick it up your junta so delightfully refers to him/her/it. Have a look around on the comments on this site and you will find where I posted excerpts from the Wikipedia log showing why he/she/it is indefinitely banned.
Now, on this thread, so far, he has been borderline but I can tell that he is beginning to foam at the mouth. This is usually followed by wild, illiterate, ignorant, implausible, unintelligible comments and assertions that blame everyone else, no matter who, for the conspiracy against him and his country. Is this paranoia? Anxiety? Sexual repression? Schizophrenia? Who knows? He should be humoured. ................. No, the hell with it, it's so funny when he loses it.

I do hope the Botox Queen has researched the niceties of etiquette and courtesy in China. It is very important when meeting someone, that one bows low. And waits until one has been properly shafted before standing up again.

UK is not even a nation it's an island not bigger then Malvinas, if you guys wheren't terrorits with nukes Argentina would have annexed the damn british rock, but we all know that you guys have a nuclear sub in the area witch should force Argentine toi get a few nukes of their own, we can use this threat to arm Argentina but we are still civilized, but I am sure with time we will.

First of all, the sub around the area is not one with nukes. it has a nuklear reactor poweing it. it's just a normal attack sub. Second you couldn't invade the islands, like YOU have said in the past.

first of Argentina can never own nuclear weapons, they would probably kill themselves, or blow south America up, the civilised world would never allow children to own such weapons, the British on the other hand, would never threaten anyone with them, they are for defence only,, and only the nutters on this planet like Iran and north Korea wants to kill everyone,, so the fact are this, even if the weapons were used, their is a 99% chance that all life would be killed, EVEN ARGENTINA so what would you gain, like most children [nothing] because you all think its just a game,, the best place for Argentina, like all children should have your toys taken away, and put to bed by 9pm,

well it's not UK under threat, but Argentine, so in order to defend our nation from a nuclear attack from an invading nuclear force we must all support Argentina to get nuclear weapons for self defence purposes, we have the right and the duty to defend our nation against threats and colonial powers, we can learn a lot from the scince and never depend on other nations for technology, we will never be put aside by an island, we will control our seas and determine our own future, we will never have to go as if begging for rights, we will take the right as many nuclear nations do, I am an Argentine who supports my country on getting the nuclear weapons we need to defend our region, all nuclear powers are in control of their own destiny and subjecting the rest to their exploitation, if it took a nuke to end opression now the next generation will know better, I am willing to make that sacrfice, anyone else here is trully patriotic ? or am I ranting to a bunch of british trolls ??

Gassy is really working up a good one, isn't he? Let's keep it going until he tries rubbing one of his brain cells against the other and causes a short.

Now, gassy. You know that nothing really hurts Brits. Most of the nations in the world have learned this over time. Take your case. It took 34 British aircraft to defeat your air force. 1 submarine to sink one unit of your navy and send the rest running for port and around 7% of our army to defeat yours. Sort of a no-brainer, isn't it? If you've kept up with the comments all around, I think the scoreline has become:
