Argentine Cabinet Chief Aníbal Fernández said Sunday that either Néstor Kirchner or Cristina Fernández de Kirchner would be the candidates for the 2011 presidential elections from the ruling party. Read full article
Cristina and Nestor and their mafia friends are convinced they will be in power for the long run. Two consecutive periods and a return after one period is skipped will allow them to go on practically indefinitely. Their reign is closer to a democratic monarchy than a republic. Poor Argentina, I do cry for you! Of course if the money (the People's money) runs out, there will be some kind of revolution, perhaps small and peaceful perhaps bloody. Not something to look forward to.
What a democracy! The political party of the K´s has not even met to select its candidate for 2011, but their highnesses have already decided that it will be one of them.
Can British people talk about Argentine democracy? Wasn't Blair UK premier for more than 10 years? Didn't Thatcher remained in power for 12 years? 12 years is also the period of time Chávez has been in office.
If one of the Kirchner will be the next president is also a question the people will decide by voting. That's democracy.

As with other areas of new settlement such as Canada, Australia, and the United States, Argentina is considered a country of immigrants.[41] Most Argentinians are descended from colonial-era settlers and of the 19th and 20th century immigrants from Europe, and 86.4% of Argentina's population self-identify as of European descent.[2] An estimated 8% of the population is Mestizo, and a further 4% of Argentinians are of Arab or Asian heritage
perhaps the islanders should talk to the mestizo people, or patagonians.
and forget the old argentina
Kickback may be Patagonian, thereby confirming the centuries-old Argentine trait of stealing land from the indigenous people, but the Botox Queen isn't!!
Argentina has allocated Islas Malvinas as the capital for Mapuches and other native people to share with the kingdom and EU.
we have placed the head office in UK to make things easy for everyone. I like the Kirchner's as political strategysts.
Argentinean oppressors want us out of the Falklands, so they can oppress the people, the Argentineans are empire builders and want the Falklands as a colony, the Falklands will always be free, and NEVER Argentinean
BRITON:
I't s notable how you swallow all your pathetic propaganda, and dont discern absolutly anything, beside it's evident how little you know about our history.
Regarding the soposed colonial ambitions of argentina, it was not argentina the country that become the malvinas into a colony, it was the u.k., before 1833 the malvinas were no body's colony, it was just one more part of the argentine territory, i know that you wont never accept this , but like it or not it was true.
Beside stop victimazing your country and the islanders, the actual scenario is the result of the idiot intransigence from both sides, argentina is not the only one responsable of this situation.
It's strange how axel can include so much stupidity and ignorance in a comment and blame someone else. But there are a couple of things of which we can be sure. The Falkland Islanders intransigently want to be British. And the Falkland Islanders intransigently want as little as possible to do with Argentina.
yes, you cannot argue with a nation that is always right, and does nothing wrong, yet blames everybody else for their plight.
Even beliving the islanders always wanted and still wants to be argentinian, and belive we are stopping them, its called i belive [a brick wall] and you just cant talk to one ?
