Surprise performance of UK economy, “but don’t get carried away”

The UK economy grew by more than initially thought in the second quarter of 2010, boosted by a strong performance by the construction sector. The economy grew by 1.2% in the quarter, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said, revising up its initial estimate of 1.1% growth. Read full article

    Anyone noticed that the Argentine currency is worth one one hundred thousand millionth of what it was 30 years ago.

    That is 1 (peso) is worth 100,000,000,000 of the old pesos. Pretty good economy, eh?
