British scientists have released draft sequences of the wheat genome, which they think could make a vital contribution to securing global food supplies. The researchers say their efforts could help British farmers to develop new strains with greater yields. Read full article

    lest you forget that EU and UK doesn't eat GMO foodstuff, good luck on thatone, bio-fuel is looking more and more lucrative, good for Argentina, now lets work hard at bringing the price of oil to 20$ a barrel, and say goodbye to deep sea drilling.
