All that agriculture is going to need a lot of potash. Better get investing in potash miners!

I don't really know of whom you talk about. It must be of Argentina, for none the other Mercosur three countries have had problems with its farming businesses. In my view, Argentina's decision to tax its agricultural exports was a sensible one: it is used, not just by Argentina, to preclude a country's economy from becoming overly dependent on non-value added exports.

The Mercosur participants don´t need to get in contrverse with the developed countries. The best way to become the bigger food providers for the world is to help the farmers can develope their crops and can deal freely with all over the world countries, helping them to get better technologies, helping them to fast and cheap paperworks for export and the money returns, stability & reliability about the economic policies, etc. and the most important a credible & honoured government word.
Other way, with state hands making all difficult just will be the contrary.

I wonder if CFK really wants other countries to help dredge the Parana River to help Chavez´s fleet of oil carrying ships (which was agreed upon between Hugo and CFK) to essentially takeover all shipping on the river?

Yeah right, that's why their agriculture industry is going to hell..must be great economic progress. Argie land doesn't have a strong manufacturing industry and so far will be depend on exporting non-value added products. As I typed many times here, they only have a big mouth, big head while living in a failed fantasy land ruled by idiots (Che..)
