“ ... Mrs. Kirchner started her speech by talking about the 2001 crisis that hit the country and highly praised the way in which Argentina came out of it....”

If she's that cocky why doesn't she let the IMF check the figures? It's a strange approach to diplomacy when you slag off the financial organisation that everyone respects and the Security Council which is the only real power within the UN. Way to go Cristina .... make some friends :-)

    @Hoytred

Perhaps because she doesn't want to give undeserved legitimacy to the IMF. Afterall, it was the IMF that provoked that crisis by means of bad advices. No, that “everyone respects” the IMF, is not true. And Argentina, more than most other countries, has every right to despise it.

    J. A. ROBERT:
In spite that we never agree eachother, i have always thought that you were an intelligent guy, but with your last comment, you just show how idiot you are.
On the other hand, that appointment was a great recognizement for my country, i really celebrate it, beside, that event, refutes that mendacious assertion wich some of our moron politicians like to hold some times, about the soposed isolation of my country, we only must believe in facts.

Without the IMF getting involved Argentina cannot settle its debt with the Paris Club!

Without the IMF getting involved, Argentina's statistics remain suspect!

Without the IMF getting involved, Argentina will struggle to borrow money on the international markets!

Despise it all you like .... you need it!!

    HOYTRED:
You are misinformed dear hoytred, on twesday, one american bank offered our minister of economy, funds at a rate betwen 8 or 9%, but the he rejected because he said that the government does not need it.
Regarding our statistics, that's irrelevant, with or with out credible statistics, it does not impide in absolut that our economy growths at hight rates, on the other hand, the diference betwen you and j. a. robert, is that i never thought that you were intelligent.

Axel, do you have any proof that Mrs Fernandez de Kirchner has never used Botox? And seriously, her lips are starting to sag a bit. She really needs more “work”. Even an idiot like me can see that...

    J.A.ROBERT:
I conffirmed that you are a true moron. i dont give a shit about mrs kirchner's botox, her jowells, her clothe, her underwere etc etc, those are supeficial and irrelevant issues that are analized only by those gosip shows from tv.
What i really care about a politician are hes acts, in some her acts i agree with the president, and there are others that i dont agree in absolut, that's all.

    JASON:
Ok that's your choice, i thought you were more intelligent, if the only one thing that you care from the president, is her botox, then i dont have much more to discuss with you.
I have always thought that only women would be interested on those stupid issues, in my case as a gay guy, is even irrelevant too.
