A suspected smuggler was removed from Gibraltar territorial waters by the Spanish Guardia Civil following physical scuffles and a tense stand-off with the Gibraltar police. The incident was described as “very serious” and Gibraltar’s Chief Minister Peter Caruana warned that it could undermine the efforts of the Trilateral Forum to cooperate on law enforcement issues. I believe the Gibraltarian press which is where I first saw this story. Abaout time the Gib police started locking up trespassing Guardia, that'll sort the cocky bustards :-)

Seems the Spanish and their descendants can't help lying.
I certainly wouldn't believe the Diario de Cadiz Thunk, when the story first broke they were saying it had happened in aguas españolas, they quickly amended all their stories to say it happened in la bahía de Algeciras.

The Brits seem to continue their life-long practice of piracy. Well, we'll have blow you out of the Rock and the surrounding waters....... give it some time.

My recollection is that all the action takes place on Spanish territory. Air attacks, naval attacks, armour and artillery.

Oh, Spain grants Gibraltar to the British Crown by treaty, and in perpetuity, and now that's called life-long piracy? Sounds a bit confused to me.
