Yesterday RKH suffered big losses because the market is starting to think that some lies are on the air; today is Desire´s turn; perhaps some rumor leaked and Rachel isn´t a fair lady.

By the way, talking about lies; do you know Falklands Gold Company history??

Billy and Think. I would avoid gloating about short term fluctuations in the SP. Yes there has been some recent downward pressure (as there was in the run up to the RKH oil find). But gloating about such short term prices could leave you with egg on your face.

I can understand though, you have little to gloat about!

    Gloating?... Us?.........
If you want to see ”gloating” over ”short term fluctuations in the SP”; I would suggest you take a good look at your own posts from the past 3 months………….

Anyhow….. the only reason I’m here is the Malvinas issue,….. very much revived in Argentina since February 2010 by the unilateral and illegal British Oil Prospection…..

So…… I “think” I will continue with my comments when things go our way………(Quite often these days:-)

Ah Think. But I am in for the long term and expect to see ups and downs (trading opportunities) with my eye on the end game, whenever that will be. As far as I can see there appears to be nothing illegal in the Islanders engaging in economic activity including the exploration for HCs. Once again I would suggest that Argentina refer this to the ICJ but I won't hold my breath.

I expect to see more dusters and more finds over the coming years, what matters is the long term upside so we will see who comes out better on this. Perhaps I will make enough for my little Boy to get through University without debt?

    Time will tell!

I hope your boy can go to university and you pay nothing; like me and finishing withaout paying a cent.

Best scenario for stockholders is a non-dispute situation.

Hoytred #8 Yes, what Billy says it's true, but President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner sent his little flower Florencia Kirchner to New York, she's studying there. President Cristina says education in the U.S. is better than education in Argentina.

This gorgeous girl with the big nose is Cristina's daughter.

That story about “being in for the long term” was, MAYBE, good enough with shares bought at 40 Pence.

Now you are saying that you are “topping up” at 3,xx ect etc..... That makes you much more vulnerable.

You, as everybody else “in the Market” have a strong standpoint until the moment you take another.

Nevertheless, with the government opposed to cooling the economy as presidential elections in October 2011 approach, expectations are for inflation to remain high – an average of nearly 33 per cent, according to a monthly survey by the Torcuato di Tella university

Does anybodyof you “Private Investors” remember Sam Moody’s “ early bonuses”?

“This summer, Rockhopper awarded almost £1m in early bonuses to four executives before some key tests on the flow had been completed.

This was Rockhopper's third bonus pay-out to its directors in the last 16 months, after its annual report revealed there had been an “accelerated” incentive plan.

The oil explorer decided to give four directors an average of £225,000 each from their 2011 allowance on July 12 - three months after discovering oil at the Sea Lion well and four weeks before it found that the nearby Ernest well is dry.

Bonuses at the explorer, which made a £5m loss, have totalled £2m since March 2009.

The speeded up payments relating to 2009 and 2010 were a one-off move to “more accurately reflect the year being reported”, according to the company. “

Jepppp....... They deserve every penny :-))))

Not only they deserve every penny; they deserve to keep selling shares...

”Last month, Desire raised about 22.8 million pounds ($36.6 million) after selling 16.3 million shares at 140 pence each to help fund its exploration campaign. ”

    Deja vu??

Yep Think. Bit a a hit on the paper profits but at least still in profit! 20 days of side tracking to go and a very interesting 2011. I guess many of you will enjoy your gloating but as more is learned the more finds get made. This is why RKH found oil in sea-lion after the data from the Shell drills.

May be a good time for you to enter the fray and pick up some cheap shares? If you can take the risk?
