And what an audience we are:-)

BTW... Brazil will sign the final Mercosur document.... but they want some changes in the wording first....

    Keep in the shade....

I have no doubts that they'll want to change the wording .... they also want a deal with the EU and Britain can join the other opposers to ensure rejection! Politics eh :-)

The “Key” problem word seems to be “condemnation”
    Any sugestions for milder synonyms?
    Disapproval ?
    Denunciation?
    Displeasure?
    Discontent?

Or , maybe, the British friendly: Commendation:-)

The MercoPress article is actually a different thread, but said “ ... According to Argentine diplomatic sources Timerman appears to be after the bloc's partners to sign a “support declaration” document, which would state firmly that the neighbouring nations do support Argentina in its claim.....”

I'm actually a little surprised that Brazil is quibling over the term 'condemnation'. Let them whatever term seems most appropriate .... makes no diference to the British position.

    It's only politics.

“The UK's refusal to negotiate a peaceful solution to this problem and the self-confidence with which it seizes our natural resources in the seas off Patagonia and at the same time tests missiles from our islands , are seen as acts of aggression not only in Argentina,” Mr Timerman said.

Whats to negotiate ? the Argies want to take Falklands and they cant have them

Think - that article was out before Brazil signed anything. The question is - what did they sign? If it's merely the standard end of meeting condemnation of the UK then you've gained nothing. If, on th other hand, its a rock solid committment to ban shippong involved with the Falklands oil industry then maybe you have something. So what did they sign Think ?

Doesnn't matter if they sign the 'whateveritwas' document or not anyway, no one takes promises involving Argentina seriously. CFK might as well wipe her arse with it for what it's worth.

Ah Think. If it is true, well done on getting Brazil! It just shows how much of a weak position you are in that you desperately require other countries to assist you.

Think you should contact the Travel Agency in trying to organise a trip to the islands. Then you actually visit the place you claim to know so much about!

It does amaze me Think, that you know everything that happens in the islands, and how all the islanders feel, when you have never been to the Falklands or actually met an islander...funny that. Hmm...how can that be....?
