Because Trade Unions that have the clout to dictate how an industry is run is not a good idea. Protecting employees rights is of course laudable, forcing absurd redistributions of a business's income is not.
A big Union is not good for Argentina. Yeah! Hoytred is correct...they need a Maggie to sort them out. They will never learn from the past. Well, one is gone...who is next!
After today´s announcement of Nestor Kirchner´s death, stay tuned for the flexing of the muscles of a powerful union leader of Argentina. He may even want to try to be the next president, in 2011.
Can't see that, he's a Union Man so he'll want to have all the influence but take no responsibility, he'll keep his head down but 'support' some puppet for the presidency who'll take all the flak.
