Some things are above politics. This is very upsetting news for Argentina and I was shocked when I heard this. Thoughts and prayers for Cristina and the rest of the family!

It will be interesting to see how this affects the current presidency after the rumours that he was the controlling influence behind Christina's presidency.

He was not perfect... And I must to admit, his death happened in a very difficult moment for Cristina... He's strong authority kept the discipline in the peronism. The desparition of NK from this world and the political scen can be very problematic.

But I think, is a new oportunity for Cristina, for concentrate all the power of the peronism in her hands... but the sindicalist power is very strong, specially Moyano a very disagreeable political figure, so I think, will be hard times for Cristina, but I think is a new opportunity for being free and make her own way.

Dangerous times... but as well times for opportunities...

She's strong and I think she can to govern alone, but will be difficult; NK was not the president... but during 7 years we had two presidents in this country... Cristina was the second president during NK administration and NK was the second president during the CFK administration...

Another thing: we always think that after their stance in the power, the Kirchner couple would retain some power; the Kirchnerism would not die after lose the power. But with NK gone may be the Kirchnerism died with him...

#19 - I hope that Kirchnerism died with him, as I think that he was not really a Peronist, but a would-be dictator.

Peronist? Who is the peronist?. First lesson... is practically IMPOSSIBLE to define the peronist o who is peronist who not... the terminological chaos around a definition for peronist was created by Peron, after 1955, and was increased this undefinition during 19 years, after his death in 1974...

60 years old, with a heart condition requiring two surgical interventions this year alone and a habit of ignoring doctors instructions to slow down...
It's sad, but medically all too predictable.
