    40 decades? That would be 400 years, so the year 1610, when there was no USA, and China was ruled by an Emperor.

    I'd have said no to your question; no-one would have seen the discovery of the New World or Communism for that matter. The concept of a Republic did not exist, indeed not until after the English Civil War later that century.
