Hardly the evil Imperialist usurpers, quite funny that Malvinist posters are upset by eccentric old stamp collectors living in the islands.

    Marcos,

If George V is a “sheep” what does that make your present head of state?? Stop being a pain. Grow up.

On a more serious note, someone has made a error of description on the “2d Provisional” It was in fact a 2. 1/2d surcharge on a GV 2d stamp used in South Georgia when the stock of 1/2d and 2.1/2d stamps ran out. Used only for about a month. Present value £800.
Very generous of Stanley Gibbons, but look at the publicity.

Stamps are a serious issue believe it or not. Various statements about postal agreements are claimed as “protests” to fill in embarassingly large gaps in Argentina's claim to have regularly protested. Never underestimate the Malvinista's ability to construct mountains from mole hills.
