And with this grows a military power, We all know that brazil aspires to be a world power, And the fact she is slowly increasing her navy points to this.
Only time will tell if this is a good thing or a bad thing . Either way brazil is growing on the world stage, we may yet find out in the decades to come .

I think, I am not sure, that Brazil is more interested in becoming (or already is) an economic super power. I do not think they are interested in becoming a military super power, because it cost to much money, they know that, and why should they bother to become a military super power? who are their enemy? It's a continental size nation that has no enemies I can think about. When is the last time they send soldiers overseas to fight a war? World war 2, when they were attacked. I think, again, I'm not sure, Brazil is up grading its defense pure for defense, because your friends of today, “might”, you never know, be your enemy tomorrow. We shall see, but it's interesting to see how Brazil is changing, actually under the radar.
