Useless people. His mother was a person of value, she cared for others. I remember her saying she wanted to the queen of people's heart, not a bloodsucking wonder.

“I don't think many people will want me to be Queen.
Actually, when I say many people I mean the establishment that I married into, because they have decided that I'm a non-starter.
BASHIR: Why do you think they've decided that?
DIANA: Because I do things differently, because I don't go by a rule book, because I lead from the heart, not the head, and albeit that's got me into trouble in my work, I understand that. But someone's got to go out there and love people and show it.”

    Fido Dido:

The royalty makes us more each year than it costs us.

    “not a bloodsucking wonder.”

Again: The royalty makes us more each year than it costs us.

If this wedding makes the UK 620 million next year, combined with the 500 million a year the queen makes each year for our country.

Take away the 35-50 million a year it costs us. Almost a billion.

Yes, it is. Because i am correct.

Care to provide any evidence to your theory that our monarch costs us more than she makes?

    Didn't think so.

I enjoy reading people here who are defending a group of people who declared them self “royal”. They do indeed cost more money, because they don't pay taxes.

Typhoon the play station gamer idiot, I'm Dutch and my little country doesn't have a president.

“They do indeed cost more money, because they don't pay taxes. ”

Can you prove this? I'd like proof. You can't get any. Because nomatter what way you spin it, the 30 million she costs us is nothing compaired to the 500 million she makes us a year.

Any investor would bite your hand off for a 1000% mark up on a investment.

I wonder if this kind of news is pertinent here. Isn´t this Mercopress, the South Atlantic News Agency?

Very true, But this peice of news is world wide. The last wedding was viewed by almost a billion people on tv.

MercoPress seems to comment a lot about the UK even when it's nothing to do with the south atlantic.

@10 Actually, your country doesn't have much of any importance. In fact, it doesn't have anything of importance. What it does have is a drug culture and loads of prostitutes. Something to be proud of, eh?

@12 Of course it's pertinent. Prince William is one of the heirs to the British Throne. In time he will become King of England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland and of all British Overseas Territories. As well as Head of State for at least 16 Commonwealth countries.

No matter where you go, Britain is pertinent.

From idiot play station gamer Typhoon: Actually, your country doesn't have much of any importance.

Political, No it doesn't and so what. who cares. In trade it does.

The royals are self proclaimed important people, supported by the people in their territory. They are land lords and don't pay taxes by laws they created them self with the people who where elected by the people in their territory. Read the history carefully with an open mind and you will understand.
