... “Malvinas is the foreign policy issue most deeply rooted in the spirit of Argentines. However our Congress does not debate on the issue as does the British parliament. What really happens is that in Argentina overall there is no discussion on foreign policy”, claimed Garcia del Solar in one of his last interviews earlier this year....
The trouble with debate is that someone might want to get to the truth, and then again someone may wish to pursue the matter further ... to the ICJ perhaps. Neither appear to be something that the Argentine Government wishes :-)

Nov 28th, 2010 - 01:14 am - Link - Report abuse 0He could have done so much with his life but instead he tried to make the Falklands Islands Argentinian when in fact they are and always have been British....since before Texas was part of the Union.
The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent Argentine threats of recapturing the Malvinas, and have therefore raised their security level from Miffed to Peeved. Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to Irritated or even A Bit Cross. The English have not been A Bit Cross since the blitz in 1940, when tea supplies nearly ran out. Argentines have been re-categorized from Tiresome to A Bloody Nuisance. The last time the British issued a Bloody Nuisance warning level was in 1588, when threatened by the Spanish Armada. So cheer up mates and low down your warning levels. We're still preparing something unthinkable for you.
