Rains that devastated a mountainous region north of Rio de Janeiro have killed at least 626 people, Brazil's Civil Defense agency said on Sunday, as fears of more storms and disease outbreaks overshadowed rescue operations. Read full article

Please note that there are still more than 13,000 people have been left homeless. In some places like in Nova Friburgo, they need to rebuild all bridges, the main highway, and at least 3,000 houses.
