I like his style ... although he could have added, “ Unless the Atacamians wish it”.

    Sounds better :-)

What is it about the diegos and the stealing of other peoples land?

And how come no-one is making a fuss about the Netherlands Antilles, French Guiana, or even Trinidad?

Martian, you need to develop an understanding of British humour !

Frank - the French and the Dutch have just made their overseas territories a part of France and Holland which has the effect of removing them from C-24 scutiny.

The Falklands would, in the same vein, become a County of England.

I think we can do without another County Council although it remains an option!

I think the Europeans will be in south America for quite sometime yet,
at least we only have the argies to contend with, perhaps the French and Dutch wont have it so good with their close neighbours‘, still it will be nice for others to take the burden,

the French and the Dutch have just made their overseas territories a part of France and Holland which has the effect of removing them from C-24 scutiny.

The French and Dutch will be fine in South America. Only British clowns with bad teeth will have issues in South America with a group of Argies, that nobody of the rest of South America cares about, than just barking political rhetoric.

French Guiana has always been an department of France and it's going to stay like that. Nobody in that area has problems with that, and specially not Brazil who eyes French Guiana and Suriname as the gateway to Europe. In Suriname, Brazilians are not only know for stealing their gold but also building the infrastructure to export their products.

Holland just changed the whole system of the Netherlands Antilles, that doesn't exist anymore, since Curacao became one of the new constituents. The only thing dislike is that they wish they still had some control over their old crown the jewel, Suriname (also ex British colony, and still drive left and drink tea in the afternoon)

Good for Chile, they have been the victims of land grabs in the past. Good to see they won't stand for that kind of nonsense in future.

I am from Argentina and agree with Bolivians they need an exit to the ocean and they also need to cut off any trade with Chile, untill they learn to behave like civilized people, this Chileans did the same thing in Argentina and we are getting sick of them, eventually we will have a war and will take back the Argentine province chile, I am from San Juan Argentina and this people are filthy drunkards, nothing more then pests, I wish Argentina's government will get involved and stop LAN Chile or barrick gold from entering Argentina untill they give back the land they thefted.
