United States expects the Egyptian government to honour previous peace agreements with Israel regardless of who is in power, the White House said Friday. Read full article
“Our real fear is of a situation that could develop ... and which has already developed in several countries including Iran itself -- repressive regimes of radical Islam,” said Netanyahu. Our real fear is of getting our butts kicked out of Middle East.
Israel is not afraid. Those who think that, forget history´s lessons.
The last time Egypt went to war against Israel, they lost the Sinai and the IAF bombed strategic targets in as far as Cairo. The same happened to Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, everyone took losses against the Israeli army, one of the best in the world. Israel won all the wars they waged to destroy their country.
Just to remind their Arab and Persian neighbors not to get too cocky when purchasing newbies from the russians, in 2007, Israel´s IAF blinded Syria’s brand new and super expensive Air Defense System, Pantsir-S1, which they acquired from Russia at very hefty prices, billions of dollars spent for nothing, and these defense systems were also purchased by Iran.
They failed miserably against Israel´s IAF tactics and technology. The Syrians didn´t even know whether the intruding aircraft came in from the East, West, or South, Israel´s IAF were able to bomb targets at will and got home for dinner the same day.
Israel ridiculed Russian made weaponry once again as they have always done for decades and demonstrated to Iran and Syria that to this day there is no russian made radar system capable enough to stop their air force. So they´d better get a different supplier.
Egypt´s people must find their way to democracy or whatever kind of government they wish to have, good luck for them. Israel fears none. peace will come one day when everyone accepts Israel´s right to exist.
maybe before USA ask for anything we want to know who was driving the US diplomatic trucks used to run over people in Egyp and also what happen with the Israeli spyes found in Egypt prior to all this problems, what was in the hardrives of the computers found in the spy posetion ? something smells fishy.
