Argentina names globalization-critic economist as ambassador in France

Argentina has appointed economist Aldo Ferrer (84) ambassador to France. The decision was confirmed by the decree 180/2011 which was signed by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman, on February 22. Read full article

    Senor Ferrer should be appointed lead the World Bank and the IMF. What a difference someone like him could make in the world, if they held real power.

    #2 I agree with you 100%, the day will come when we will have no option but to make the right choices for our own good, now with the price of oil at over 100$ and the world food supply shortages everyone will have to deal with the simple facts of life, the days of running a country at gun point are over, I like Ferrer, I think he is someone who can make a huge contribution on the positive end of the international scene.
