BBC ends Spanish broadcasts for Latin America; major role in Falklands war

The BBC has ended its radio broadcasts in Spanish for Latin America, 73 years after they first went on air. The service faced its greatest challenge during the Falklands War between Britain and Argentina in 1982. Read full article

    .Even the great must come to an end sometimes, but fear not the British wont be far away, now that Patton is on his way to the BBC the government is hoping for big changes, but the BBC world radio service will still be broadcasting , just not in Spanish, so you lot will have to listen and learn in English wont you . ??

    We had to tell them we were about to attack, as moving into their fixed positions and finding them with their pants down 'keeping warm' would have been just too disturbing.
