On the positive end greed is never a good thing, maybe its time that Argentina moves from an agricultural market to a more indutrial type, I guess this is what it means to diversify.
If Argentina, the one-time great meat producer of South America, is spiralling down the SA production league table to below Paraguay!(dropping by 20% p.a.), and Brasil has taken dominance of meat production and export, perhaps Brasilian producers such as JBS S.A. can do more to help Argentina get back on its feet again.
Btw, it is in everyone's interest that MERCOSUR succeeds, and Argentina should not try to break out of the trading group by making renagade deals with non-MERCOSUR countries.
