That said, Arabs are not know to attach strings or humiliating conditions to their investment deals: the US is.
UAE has ~ 680 billion $ in the global system !

Remember, this is an announcement made by the K government. I can remember when a similar announcement was made that China was going to put 15 billion dollars into investments in Argentina, and China later stated that the whole announcement was not true. And yes, there never was a Chinese investment.

He reported later, that the fine for such an feat is around 7.000 U$S

3/ as a result of 2 I have never been fined by anyone.
The issue of the fine is common knowledge n its latest dispute with the U.K. (this time over oil drilling exploration), any yacht planning to arrive or depart from Ushuaia may have to sign an undertaking not to visit the Falkland Islands.

Recently, Argentina has reasserted their claim to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands. They have also always claimed a section of the Antarctica Peninsula as part of their territorial waters. All vessels intending to sail to or from the Falklands, South Georgia and South Orkneys must apply for and obtain permission from the Argentine government or they will be fined $7000USD upon arrival in Argentina, or risk impoundment of vessel.
