“Long live Germany. Long live Argentina. Long live Austria. These are the three countries with which I have been most connected and which I will not forget. I greet my wife, my family, and my friends. I am ready. We'll meet again soon, as is the fate of all men. I die believing in God.” Adolf Eichmann's last words.

Just jealous Eichmann was in Argentina instead of the USA. Perón loved them too.

1 xbarilox (#). You were quick off the mark!!!! Thanks for the links. I knew the house on Garibaldi Street, now pulled down and a two story office building is there. One of Adolph's sons - the youngest I believe (born in Argentina) - has a removal truck and offered his services to a friend of mine.

@ 2 Awesome, lucky you! I would like to meet that guy, not to talk about his father (I don't think he would like me to do that or perhaps yes) but just to see what he looks like. Does he look like her father?

3 xbarilox (#). I didn't have the pleasure of meeting him but my friend did, I will have to ask him.
These guys don't really like to talk about their father, I know one son of an SS Lt General but he doesn't say much about his father who died in Santa Rosa de la Calamuchita; it is a case of we agree to disagree.

@ 4 hey, I know that place, it's a place in Córdoba too, and I went to a place called La Falda when I was like 10 years old, and there was a hotel called Eden in ruins, family Eichhorn, the owners, gave some money to the NS party, Joseph Goebbels would have acces to the moeny that Eichhorn family gladly gave to them. People say that in another city called Río Tercero there was a family Unziker and they used to be related to Hitler's family, not sure if that's true, but well, there are many untold stories.
I love to meet some of those guys that you know!!!

“Ludolf-Hermann Emmanuel Georg Kurt Werner von Alvensleben” now that's a name!

5 xbarilox (#) There is a book called “Hitler en Argentina” worth a read. Any books by Uki Goñi on the subject of the Nazis are also well researched and worth reading

8 Fido Dido (#) It is a case of reading to be informed, proudness doesn't come into it.
